Margaret EdithPHIPPSMargaret passed away peacefully on Tuesday 12th May at Rowcroft Hospice, surrounded by her family and with the sound of birdsong from the gardens.
A devoted wife to Terry for 63 years until he passed away last summer, a beloved Mum to Stephen, Andrew, Robert and Michael and Mother in Law to Becky, Janet and Daniela. Proud Nanny to Liam, Tyler, Jacob and Joseph.
Well known and highly regarded within the Widecombe-In-The-Moor community and the farming community. Margaret was the first female Chairperson and President of the Widecombe Fair, and was involved in numerous community groups and clubs. Margaret will be fondly remembered and sadly missed.
Funeral service to be held at St Pancras Church, Widecombe-In-The-Moor on Monday 1st June at 10:30am, followed by interment in the Churchyard where she will be reunited with Terry. Please wear bright colours, bright flowers are also welcomed.
